In most cities, your nearby hardware store will take your recycle materials, often including batteries, cell phones; and even latex paint, Christmas lights and plastic plant pots! CFLs, re-chargeable batteries and even toxic paint products are commonly accepted. Think local! In San Francisco, our local Cole Hardware Stores have great recycling options.
