Now that planting season is over, store you seeds so they maintain their vigor. I just learned this tip the other day and, of course, when it comes to reorganizing, I jump right on it and moved my seeds from the drawer where they were stored to an airtight container.
Since moisture, heat and fluctuating temperatures will destroy seeds or at best deter a seed’s ability to germinate quickly and healthily. Store them in a jar with a secure tight-fitting lid. I happened to have a small plastic bin to store mine. Keep them in a cool, dark place like a garage or basement until it’s time to sow again.
