If you have been getting organized during this time and need a place for your “no longer serving you” items to go, there are a few select Goodwill locations open now with limited hours. If your not from the bay area, you may want to check their website for details on your locale.
Here are the details for the SF bay area:
Hours of Operation – 9 AM to 2 PM Tuesday through Saturday
San Francisco – 16th St. & 22 Wisconsin Parking Lot: 121 Wisconsin St, San Francisco, CA
San Mateo – South San Francisco Pak & Save Parking Lot at 2255 Gellert Boulevard and Chavez Supermarket Parking Lot at 46 Fifth Avenue, Redwood City
Marin – Safeway Parking Lot: 1 Camino Alto, Mill Valley, CA and in Novato behind Store at 936 7th St, Novato, CA
They also have a new no-contact, drop-off process where you deliver your own boxes and bags to the donation bins, have no contact with employees and a way to get your donation reciept online rather than in paper form.
Though their website indicates centers are still closed, the Salvation Army drop-off location on 26th Street near Valencia in San Francisco is also open and appear to be maintaining their standard hours of 10 am to 6 pm.
